What we collect
Synapse Play may collect caretaker account contact details, session choices (energy, difficulty, activity type), engagement and mood notes the caretaker enters, optional play-tap counts, and stimulation/engagement timing metrics. Exports are engagement/stimulation research metrics only — not clinical assessments.
What we do not collect here
Do not enter diagnoses, medications, lab results, Medicare or Medicaid numbers, or clinic patient records into Synapse Play. Synapse Play is not an EHR and does not claim to be HIPAA compliant.
How we use data
We use session data to run the activity product, improve household usability, support invite-only beta operations, and (when the caretaker chooses) share a non-clinical session summary. We do not sell personal data.
No sale of data
Meridian does not sell Synapse Play personal information. Processors that host or deliver the product (for example hosting and email) act under Meridian's instructions.
Children / minors
Synapse Play is not directed at children under 13. Children/minors n/a as a primary audience.
Retention & export
Session metrics may be retained for the beta/engagement period and ordinary business records. Caretakers may request deletion or an engagement-metrics export by emailing the address below, subject to legal holds.
